Today is April 30th….1789/2013. Humility has become Defiance.

On April 30th, 224 years ago, George Washington was inaugurated the 1st President of the United States. This occurred in New York City at Federal Hall on Wall Street (NYSE is across the street today). It is the first day of our fully functioning government. From his address:

“Since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven, can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained: And since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the Republican model of Government, are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally staked, on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.

Having thus imported to you my sentiments, as they have been awakened by the occasion which brings us together, I shall take my present leave; but not without resorting once more to the benign parent of the human race, in humble supplication that since he has been pleased to favour the American people, with opportunities for deliberating in perfect tranquility, and dispositions for deciding with unparellelled unanimity on a form of Government, for the security of their Union, and the advancement of their happiness; so his divine blessing may be equally conspicuous in the enlarged views, the temperate consultations, and the wise measures on which the success of this Government must depend.“

After being sworn in, Washington (along with the Vice President and both Houses of Congress),  walked down the street to St. Paul’s Chapel to Pray for this new Nation. Their view from the Chapel door was a plot of land we now know as Ground Zero. As Washington said, when our nation disregards “order and right”, Heaven will cease to smile on us. If we are not Humble, He will no longer favor us. His Blessings will be withdrawn and our hedge of protection will be removed. And so it was on September 11, 2001. ON THAT VERY PLACE. As a sign, St. Paul Chapel was miraculously unharmed.

 

And how did we react? In humility and repentance seeking His face? No, it was Defiance. Today April 30, 2013, the final piece of “we will rebuild stronger” will be placed. Isa. 9:10 will again be brought alive before our eyes. “Freedom Tower” will become the tallest building in the Nation once the Spire is placed. None of these things are coincidences. And there are MANY more. As with Ancient Israel, “the nation’s ground of consecration will become the ground of its judgment”.

9/11, then the financial collapse 7 years later, the rise of evil within our borders and within our Government, these things will continue and grow more severe. We have ceased to rely on God and are now thumbing our noses at Him. Of course there is Hope for us as individuals, but nationally???

We are in denial as a Nation and a Church

Time to get real: America has enemies. Christianity has enemies. These enemies are at war with us and we are not at war with them. Therefore, they are winning and we are losing.

For years, militant Islam has been at war with the United States. From the Iranian hostages to Hezbollah’s massacre in Beirut to the first World Trade Center bombing, we were in denial from the 1970′s through the 1990′s. Then there were literal declarations of war issued against us by name in 1996 and 1998. Attack after attack commenced, even including the USS Cole, yet still we were in denial. 9/11/01 awoke many to the Reality of it, but sadly it was fleeting. As usual, the cowardice started in our own government. We could not even muster the courage to declare war on them in return! Yes there was “congressional approval” for a series of military operations guided by the commander in chief under the auspices of the War Powers Act of 1973 but an Act of War as provided for in the Constitution was never even considered. This is important as it demonstrated that we STILL were in denial. America last declared war in 1942 and it likely never do so again, regardless of Reality. We can’t even stop Islam from killing Americans in Afghanistan 12 years after we went to “war” there. Our “rules of engagement” are “risk averse” and show what a sorry state we are in. Now pro-Shariah forces are taking root in America and have said in no uncertain terms “we are above your law”. Victory does NOT look like this, defeat does. Leftists of America and Europe, who should be leading the charge against this anti free speech, anti woman, anti homosexual, pro slavery religion of oppression are aggressively COVERING UP for it. Why in the world would they do such a thing? Common Enemy. That enemy is Jesus Christ. His Church and the fruit of it, the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, must be defeated at all costs.

Similarly, 1973 brought another “war powers act”: the Supreme Court of the United States abrogated our 1st “unalienable” right, the right to live. The innocent and defenseless (the “least of these”) were all free to be murdered indiscriminately. The nation allowed the UNalienable to be taken away – as we in the Church looked away in Denial. The rights in the Declaration are GOD’S TO US. They CANNOT be taken away by government. Yet we capitulated and accepted it as “the new normal”. Most did not see it as an attack on the Church, so evil’s forces marched on to conquer more and more ground. The 1970′s through the 1990′s saw the takeover of Academia, the Media and the Courts – the Church’s influence was eroded through attack after attack. Still, we were in denial of the war against us. With the election of Barack Obama, his stated desire to “fundamentally transform” America was validated and our enemy emboldened. Like the USS Cole before it, the freedom of religion in the first amendment was now audaciously targeted. The HHS mandate against the Catholic Church in Jan. 2012 was that attack. All Christians must stand United and realize exactly what is happening.  Yet another Natural Right is being taken away. What exactly does it mean when the Bishops say “we will not comply”? Have you thought it through? Are you prepared for civil disobedience…and more? Will the “delayed implementation” date of Aug. 2013 be the equivalent of 9/11? This sudden “all systems go” push…no, DEMAND…for “gay marriage” is just part of the same coordinated attack against the Church. Victory in that sphere (state by state or federal, no matter) will be used to close Churches throughout this nation and to persecute those who disobey. Are you still in denial? Our enemy knows the rule of war, do we? The rule is singular: “We win, they lose. Nothing less. “

Taking responsibility and Defending our children

I have been trying for a week now to put my feelings about the profound evil at Sandy Hook Elementary into words, it has NOT been easy. It hit me especially hard as I have a son in Kindergarten and the “security” at his school is remarkably similar to the one where the atrocity occurred. Which by the way, should never be open again. After weeping for those children and teachers and their families and then for my own, I immediately knew what was coming next. The abrogation of responsibility for the demented a-hole who bears it all. ALL. As one of the true geniuses of today, Dennis Prager, put it: “We are lead to believe after almost every massacre that the murderer “snapped” or had mental problems. Why? Because it implies that the murderer was not morally responsible for what he did…the primary reason for gun violence in America is not gun ownership, but the lack of a functioning moral conscience.”

Did you know the deadliest attack against school children in US history was done with dynamite 90 years ago?? Did you know 22 children were stabbed by another demented adult at their elementary school in China last Friday?? The weapons used by these evil men are IRRELEVANT. What is relevant is their willingness to do it. It doesn’t matter if they “snapped” that day or planned it for years, or what their upbringing was like or what grievances they claim, evil is as evil does. It matters not whether they “knew it was wrong”, it’s still wrong! Innocents are murdered when evil is excused.

So what can be done? What is crystal clear is the Police can NEVER help in time. There is story after story about mass attacks being thwarted by…wait for it…good people who are armed and are willing to act with deadly force. Specifically in these cases of gun attacks, the fact is that the only way to stop bad men with guns is good men with guns; preferably deadlier ones. ARM OUR SCHOOLS. I don’t care if that takes the form of ex-military/law enforcement volunteers,  private security firms, arming the administrators at the schools or the teachers themselves. If defending our children is really that important to you, then TAKE ACTION TO KILL THE ATTACKERS BEFORE THEY KILL THE CHILDREN. I know teachers – they are in my immediate family and among my closest friends – if they are not willing to do what is necessary they are not fit for the job and should resign immediately. If you as a teacher (or principal, etc) are not willing to kill an attacker in your school/classroom, GET OUT. We are literally trusting you with our little ones lives – either step up to that reality or find someone who will.

By the way, 3000 more innocent children were murdered yesterday in America (and it will happen again today and tomorrow and every day until abortion is abolished). How are you defending them? Is a child worth protecting solely based on how old they are?? What is our government or our President doing to defend them? Didn’t he cry for the little ones murdered? Didn’t he say it “must end” and we “must change”? Well, the “culture of death” is winning it seems. From mass shootings to abortion to Islamic jihad, they love death more then we love life. Are you willing to change yourself and those around you to leave the culture of death once and for all and fight against it?

One thing that does get to me even among those who agree is the assertion that “the odds of being shot in school are so tiny” etc. But I have the same problem with that statement as I did with the morons who said the same things about terrorism in the wake of 9/11. Yes you are more likely to be struck by lightening or whatever, but the critical variable – MALICIOUS HUMAN INTENT – is missing from accidents, natural disasters, and so on. Bad men with evil intent can literally strike any time and any place. You are not safe in your home, your kids are not safe at school; churches, sporting events, the mall, ALL are intentional targets. So spare me the “odds are” stuff ok?

Which brings up the last point, our Bill of Rights. Some in America would repeal the Constitution entirely – the Progressive dream come true. But they will take what they can get. They have been very successful at eroding the freedom of speech and free exercise of religion (Christianity) clauses in the 1st Amendment, and now will “take aim” at the 2nd Amendment. As is ALWAYS the case, they will frame the debate – nobody else is “allowed” to do that – as something so benign sounding and even philanthropic that NOBODY should even consider opposing it. The simple truth is, the 2nd Amendment is there to guarantee the 1st. Individual rights that come from God, not any government. ALL men are created with the inherent right to believe what they want, practice those beliefs, say what they want, write what they want, and assemble with whomever they want peacefully. Also to come before their government to air their grievances. In other words, this is a nation of individuals and all that entails. Unfortunately, the impulse of mankind recorded throughout history is to become tyrannical and take those God-given (“natural”) rights away from our brethren. Sometimes all at once, but more often one at time, piece by piece. Those who “know better than you” are constantly trying to curtail these things. The right to bear arms is required to keep the United States unique in this dark, oppressive world. The “shining city on a hill” is not just a Reagan quote, it is the Word of God: Matthew 5:14. But it is constantly up to us as individuals to light our own Candle. If we don’t, the light goes out.

FWIW, Does it mean anything in Connecticut that October’s “Super storm” shares the name of the school where the massacre occurred? I don’t know but where is our hate and anger directed more? God help us all if our answer is the weather…

 

Stop Single Payer (IE Socialist) health care in Delaware

Introduced in stealth on June 14th in the Delaware state legislature, HB 392 would institute the Socialist model of “health care” in my state. And you had better believe it is coming to yours, especially if Obamacare is pared down or struck down by the Supreme Court this week. Realize that the Leftists in America were very annoyed at President Obama for not going far ENOUGH with the legislation that was passed in the dark of night via parliamentary trickery. So called “single payer” (IE taxpayer funded, government controlled) is their only acceptable goal. Thank GOD for Patriot groups here in Delaware, this bill is now drawing scrutiny and apparently will not be voted on before session ends July 1st as originally plotted. But in the words of the bill’s sponsor, it will be aggressively pursued in January. Reading between the lines, that means the Left believes that they will not lose control in November statewide and they don’t care even if they do nationally. The only way to guarantee this bill dies a swift death is to wrest control of the state house and senate and Governorship away from the Democrat machine. Short of that, we must arm ourselves with the facts and go out to the masses:

It is often said the President of the United States is the most powerful person in the world. It is the most powerful office to be sure. Sorry Pope, sorry assorted Dictators, sorry Secretary General of the United Nations, you all lose. Like it or not, the Chief Executive of our nation wields the mightiest sword on our planet; economically, militarily, morally, diplomatically. The reality is that the world follows our lead. Being a citizen of this great land is not to be taken lightly. Our Republic is goverened by a Constitution that lays out the truth of the matter. “We the People” are in control. We are no different than the men who declared Independence in 1776: “with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.” The President is the servant and representative of the People, of YOU. You are the power behind the power – you hold all the cards. You choose the direction our nation, and thereby the world, takes. The individual American voter is the most powerful person not only in the world today, but in the history of the world.

We don’t just elect a President, we by extension choose all the people in his/her Cabinet and every Supreme Court Justice appointed in their term. Therefore we choose ALL of the policies the Executive enacts (monetary, energy, foreign policy and everything else) as well as the makeup of the Supreme Court. We are also responsible for that choice. 2012 will be the toughest, and likely dirtiest, election process we have ever seen in our lifetimes. Next week we begin to Speak. If you are not involved in the Primary process, shame on you. You cannot complain about the quality of a candidate unless you partake in choosing him/her. Unless you are running for office yourself, it behoves you to Speak.

The Power of the free individual will begin to be bestowed Jan 3. If you care about the future direction of your country (and therefore the world), and you reject the progressive socialist direction of Barack Obama , and also reject the “fait accompli” of his opponent already being chosen for you (the enigma known as Mitt Romney), it is time to Rise. Gird up with the Full Armor and prepare to be assaulted from every side, but know that the Power is in your hands. Don’t waste it.

Enough is enough

I have been a little busy lately, but don’t worry I’m still here!

Year after year, the average American despises more and more the “typical politician” who doesn’t say what he means, is slicked up by his handlers, has no appreciation of working a real job, is only interested in acquiring greater power. We hate when they have canned responses to every question, have rehearsed answering every scandalous accusation. We have become so frustrated at hearing personal attacks, negative ads and tearing down a candidate’s character with name-calling and slander. Right??? Isn’t that what we ALWAYS say? Aren’t we fed up with “professional politicians”? Didn’t our Founders envision a nation where people had regular lives, regular jobs then only went to the Capital to SERVE and then GO BACK to those regular lives? Don’t we lament the lack of these selfless people?  Then it’s time to ACT. Enough is enough!

Heard this lately? “I really like him BUT…” But what?? This is why we have elections. We The People make the decisions, not an elite class who “knows better” than the rest of us. Both parties have an entrenched establishment that will literally do ANYTHING to retain their penthouse view on the top of the Tower. They want to tell you who is best, who is electable, whose positions are “approved”.  Take the power back from them, say enough is enough!

2012 will be the Year of the Phoenix. Up from the ashes of Socialism we will Rise. And we will  not be TOLD who our standard-bearer will be. The elites will not decide. The media will not decide. We will not be intimidated and we will not be outworked. “Positive Intensity” doesn’t even begin to describe it. We are fed up, we HAVE said enough is enough!

 

Cain’s business record is better than Romney’s.

Nobody is excited about Mitt Romney as a candidate. Nobody. 90% of his polling support comes from “I think he can probably beat Obama”. That’s lazy and defeatist. Take an honest look at his business record. This is not to denigrate it at all, only to compare. Put aside the plethora of rich contacts Mitt Romney has (Mort Zuckerman, Robert Kraft, etc), and the wealth of the man himself, most people say they support him for President (making him the “front runner”) because of his business background and that is just what America needs right now. Hard to argue with that, except that Herman Cain’s business record is better. MUCH better. First of all, Romney has never run a business per se. He was put in charge of a venture capital fund by his boss in 1983. Through shrewd negotiating skills (which nobody denies he has), Romney convinced Bill Bain to cover him financially while also taking the risk (IE “Bain Capital”). It worked in starting up some very successful companies like Staples, Dominos Pizza and The Sports Authority. Due to this and his ties to BYU, he was asked to run the 2002 Olympic committee and did a great job there. Romneys skills are in deal-making, buying and selling companies, being a spokesman and salesman. That’s why he is so competent at debates etc. His dad being governor of Michigan doesn’t hurt either. To summarize: graduated from college (2 colleges at once actually, Harvard business and law), was hired by Bain, ran Bain Capital, became CEO of Bain for a short time (ran against Ted Kennedy for Senate in 1994 and lost), then left Bain in 1999 to run the Salt Lake Games. He parlayed the Olympic success into election as Governor of Mass in 2002 with 49% of the vote (producing the signature Romneycare). He did not seek re-election in 2006 as he was already out of state most of that year laying the groundwork for the 2007 primary season.  So: 20 years at Bain, 3 years Olympics, 4 years Governor, last 5 years unemployed/running for President.

But if primary voters are REALLY honest with themselves this time, they will have to see the much better record of Herman Cain. If Romney’s is “good enough”, Cain’s is on another level entirely. There is no debate about it. To describe him simply as “former Godfather’s Pizza CEO” is downright insulting. We all know he rescued Godfathers from the brink of collapse. Did you also know:

Worked his way up the corporate ladder at Coca Cola, was a VP at Pillsbury and Burger King Corporations. Single-handedly rescued 400 Philadelphia region Burger Kings in the 1980s, by the way. Has been CEO or served on the Board of Directors at: Hallmark Cards Inc., Godfather’s Pizza, Inc., Digital Restaurant Solutions, Retail DNA, UtiliCorp United Inc., Aquila Inc., Bell Research Companies, Inc., Whirlpool Corp., AGCO Corp., Nabisco Inc. and Nabisco Holdings Corp, National Restaurant Association, Reader’s Digest Association Inc. Board member then Chairman of Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He was appointed to serve on the U.S. Economic Growth and Tax Reform Commission, was the 1991 recipient of the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association’s Operator of the Year/Gold Plate Award, and has received 8 honorary doctorate degrees: Morehouse College, New York City Technical College, Suffolk University, Johnson & Wales University, Creighton University, Purdue University, Tougaloo College and the University of Nebraska. (Aside from all that, he is literally a rocket scientist working as a missile ballistics mathematician for the Navy WHILE getting his computer science degree at Purdue.)

Think Mitt Romney is the best “business candidate” for 2012? Think again. And don’t just think, ACT. Don’t allow the “old money” rich Republican establishment to dissuade you. Romney is NOT a fait accompli. Remember how Herman Cain took down Bill Clinton in 1994? Wait until he gets a hold of Barack Obama. YOU must help him. If you are honest with yourself, you will not only admit Cain is clearly the best “business” candidate but that you must actively support him with your money and time. We have 6 months to take our county back. Yes we CAIN!

These are the places to go if you want to find out more about Herman Cain or want to join up to be on his team with me and thousands of others. Remember there are places out there set up specifically to denounce Cain or deceive you – BE WARY. As for me, I have volunteered to be the Delaware State Coordinator assisting the Cain campaign organize support locally. See, anyone can be a “community organizer”! We will not be outworked on the social networks by ANYONE, especially President Obama’s goons.

The Elect Cain and Citizens 4 Cain organizations are approved by the Cain campaign but are not paid employees so are not part of the campaign per-se. (This is who I am working with)
