That’s an overarching truth you can apply to any number of topics, and I will delve into them eventually, but I wanted to write today about extra-dimensionality. Call it “Heaven” or “String Theory“, it is the truth of the unseen all around us. We see the world in 3 dimensions (length, width and height). We “perceive” the 4th (time). But what if there were 6 or even 7 more that we can’t see? That’s exactly what the “string theory” of quantum relativity tells us. Physics is the language of the universe, are we listening to what it is saying? I don’t want to go into the specifics of Kerr singularities, Calabi-Yau manifolds,  brane cosmology, Kaluza–Klein theory, etc. but they are well worth your while if you are interested in learning more. What does the Bible say about the unseen?

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Where is God/Jesus? Our dead loved ones? Angels and demons? What was surrounding Elisha that nobody else could see? What about Elijah‘s Chariot of Fire? How did Phillip travel miles in an instant? How could the Prophets see the future? The examples go on and on. An excellent book I can recommend is “Beyond the Cosmos” by Dr. Hugh Ross. Oh by the way, this is all intricately and inextricably linked to music…
