But this is the time and this is the place
And these are the signs that we must embrace
The moment is now, in all history
The time has arrived and this is the one place to be

It is often said the President of the United States is the most powerful person in the world. It is the most powerful office to be sure. Sorry Pope, sorry assorted Dictators, sorry Secretary General of the United Nations, you all lose. Like it or not, the Chief Executive of our nation wields the mightiest sword on our planet; economically, militarily, morally, diplomatically. The reality is that the world follows our lead. Being a citizen of this great land is not to be taken lightly. Our Republic is goverened by a Constitution that lays out the truth of the matter. “We the People” are in control. We are no different than the men who declared Independence in 1776: “with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.” The President is the servant and representative of the People, of YOU. You are the power behind the power – you hold all the cards. You choose the direction our nation, and thereby the world, takes. The individual American voter is the most powerful person not only in the world today, but in the history of the world.

We don’t just elect a President, we by extension choose all the people in his/her Cabinet and every Supreme Court Justice appointed in their term. Therefore we choose ALL of the policies the Executive enacts (monetary, energy, foreign policy and everything else) as well as the makeup of the Supreme Court. We are also responsible for that choice. 2012 will be the toughest, and likely dirtiest, election process we have ever seen in our lifetimes. Next week we begin to Speak. If you are not involved in the Primary process, shame on you. You cannot complain about the quality of a candidate unless you partake in choosing him/her. Unless you are running for office yourself, it behoves you to Speak.

The Power of the free individual will begin to be bestowed Jan 3. If you care about the future direction of your country (and therefore the world), and you reject the progressive socialist direction of Barack Obama , and also reject the “fait accompli” of his opponent already being chosen for you (the enigma known as Mitt Romney), it is time to Rise. Gird up with the Full Armor and prepare to be assaulted from every side, but know that the Power is in your hands. Don’t waste it.

How stupid do they think we are?!?

Detail of Preamble to Constitution of the Unit...

Article III, Section 2 of the US Constitution states:

The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority;–to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls;–to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction;–to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party;–to Controversies between two or more States;–between a State and Citizens of another State;–between Citizens of different States, –between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects.

Nothing in Article II (powers of the Executive Branch) about judging the Constitutionality of Laws. This is grade school level civics, isn’t it? And yet, the Obama Administration has decided we are all idiots. The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) was passed in 1996 by huge bipartisan majorities in both the House and Senate and signed into law by Bill Clinton. It is the Law of the Land. Presidents and their Justice departments can’t just “decide” to not enforce laws they don’t like. This is insulting and wrong for 2 reasons.

First, that it’s clearly against the will of the People. 38 states currently have had their constitutions amended or have standing Legislation to agree with DOMA. EVEN UBER-LEFT CALIFORNIA AND HAWAII! Look at this page: http://www.domawatch.org/amendments/amendmentsummary.html – EVERY time this is brought to a referendum vote, people support it (except in Arizona in 2006 where it barely failed with 48%, but then passed in 2008 with 56%). “The average pass rate for all of the amendments, including Arizona’s 2006 and 2008 results, is 67.31%.” This issue has been DECIDED, it’s over. Many Democrats, including the vast majority of minorities, support DOMA. The only hope for the Leftist fringe are Leftist judges to rule it Unconstitutional. At least that would be “playing fair”. Second, it’s an abuse of Power. It just doesn’t exist! The President can sign bills into law or he can veto them. He can issue Executive Orders, but these are not “laws” and can be overturned by Congress at any time. That’s all!

The question really is WHY? Why now and why this? NOBODY is worried about this issue so why put yourself and your party at great electoral risk? Because that’s all it’s going to do. Frankly, this is just another example of career politicians thinking you are an idiot. They are trying to score points with a select few interest groups, same as always. President Obama is just proving himself not to be a leader, but a panderer at best; a Leftist activist at worst. Look at his vapid speech about Libya yesterday. Said absolutely nothing, meanwhile innocents are slaughtered and “We the People” are paying for it at the gas pump. This will only make the pro-Constitutional TEA Party grow and grow…
